Walks!

One of the BeSt things some one can do for their health is to walk! This picture was taken at a trail in North West Pennsylvania this morning as I was on a brisk walk with my husband! I got about 5000 steps in on my Fitbit!!

Walking at any pace is an all over body booster. Your breathing in fresh air (fresh-er depending on where you live!!) which gives your brain and blood much needed oxygen. You’re moving all of your joints and muscles, which help build muscle and increase bone density. And walking alters your mind set. Take a 30 minute walk when you are stressed or depressed and see if those endorphin don’t kick in!! They will!

So we would be amiss at Honest Aromas if we didn’t stress the benefits of walking for holistic health- it ranks as one of our top ten!

Another favorite that we have high lighted many times is….Tea Tree Oil! It is an all around immune system builder, great for skin and Hair issues,oral health and great  for cleaning, just to name a few. The fresh, clean smell and wakes the body…like a good walk!!

So Here are a few ideas for a healthy health walk today! Take your step toward holistic health- you can do it we are here with you!!

 

Fit Bits and Walking!

I told you I got a fit bit and I have been walking more, and feeling great! I also lost 5 pounds and still working toward my goal. I will walk around the house in circles if I didn’t get my 10K steps in for the day! I will walk back and forth in the kitchen while talking to my family if I didn’t reach my goal!! It’s kind of funny (possibly irritating to others) but definitely me😉

So, just encouraging you to walk…clear the mind, get exercise and be the Best you that you can!!
