One way we can use essential oils is to diffuse them! These beautiful necklaces were made specifically for Honest Aromas for diffusing essential oils. Simply place a drop or two of your favorite oil on the back and wear and diffuse all day!
We also have small cork bottle necklaces to place oil in! It diffuses through the cork in a cute necklace.
Many people have electric diffusers in their homes or offices now- it is not only a great way to freshen the air with a specific fragrance, but also to sanitize the air with an anti bacterial, anti- viral essential oil!! Reed diffusers can be used as well to create the same effect.
This is one typically safe way to use essential oils. There are always sensitivities and you should always take caution when inhaling any substance. See if you feel better, worse or the same. If it is a pleasant effect….diffuse away!
Have you ever used a diffuser? We want to hear from you today!
“I have loved you with an everlasting love, therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you. Again, I will build you and you shall be rebuilt.” Jeremiah 31:3-4
That is the scripture I am memorizing and meditating on right now. I was thinking about getting re-built. It sounds wonderful on one hand, like- yeah! I will have new working parts and things will go smoothly! But what does it take to get to the point that you can re build?!!! It takes a level of destruction and dismantling! I have been in that process for well over a year…..tearing down things that have not worked and taking things apart to investigate where things broke down. It is quite painful.
If you rebuild a building or a motor or a knee, you have to completely take the structure apart and look through every thing, clean debris or disease away, and decide what is worth keeping and what needs to be replaced. Then with skill, to not make the matter worse, you put the parts back together again and do some form of rehabilitation process till the unit works the way it should.
That is what I am personally, and to a degree, my family is doing currently. It is grueling and exciting at the same time. It is part of life- a scary, but necessary road to health. The business is being built in conjunction with this process. We are seeing what things work and what things do not and creating new, helpful items at the same time. We are meeting new people and working with wonderful friends to make some thing , hopefully, beautiful!
So, I want to encourage you today. Maybe you are staring at a situation and thinking….this is so broken, I do not even know how to begin to fix it. I understand. Or maybe you have begun a process, but you are already getting tired and weary. Stay the course. Do some thing today to work toward a healthy goal. Maybe you are at the end of the process and you keep getting set backs and discouraged. Do not look at that, look beyond it. Keep your eyes up looking straight ahead.
This scripture was given to me from a new friend who already has been a major encouragement in my life. It definitely “takes a village” to raise a Julia!! But I have heard this sentiment from several people in my life lately. It is so encouraging to know we do not have to stay stuck where we are. We can forge ahead and create change and health in our lives. I can only do it in His strength. I am not special. You can too.
Do you ever think about it? Do you ever step back and take a look at your life and see if you are progressing in areas that you have worked at?
I do ….tooo much I think! I can put the microscope on some thing that needs a telescope! But there! I have progressed in even seeing that in my self!!
My mom used to say that I never walked, but ran everywhere!! So, when other;-) children are learning to walk, they fall down many times before they master the concept of walking. Many times they seem so unaffected by the fact that they have just landed on the floor when they were on their way some where! I am slowly becoming that way! I am becoming much more accepting of who I am and what I can handle in a day.
I can more readily look at a bump in the road of my day and say; “ok, lets investigate this bump and not see it as a hurdle to my goal.” There is a lot of surrender that goes into that.
On the business side of progress, we were asked to be in a 3rd store this week!! How exciting! It will be in Beaver, PA and we will tell you more when we are officially moved in. The interesting thing is, I have never approached a store to sell things, they have all inquired of us!
So, pondering progress……progress may not always look like progress! Sitting on the floor doesn’t really look like you made it any where! So I guess it depends on what is going on inside that gets you to your destination. So, today I am “sitting on the floor” and being thankful for all of the things in my life. The lovely, the ugly, the fun, the difficult things. There, I made some progress!
Share your thoughts on progress! We want to hear from you today!
