Palmarosa

seychelles

Doesn’t this look like a nice summery vacation spot? This is a picture of the Seychelles Islands off the coast of Africa, where the Palmarosa (Cymbopogon martini var. motia) plant is harvested.

According to Liz Fulcher of the Aromatic Wisdom Institute, Palmarosa essential oil is amazing for the skin. It can be used for a variety of skin issues, including pain, eczema, general inflammation, infections, and fungi. It balances the skin’s production of oil (sebum) and is great for healing and renewing cells!

Palmarosa doesn’t just help the skin, however. It’s also super helpful for the nervous system. It has a calming and encouraging effect, good for anxiety. It can also encourage adaptability to stressful situations.

So you see, palmarosa doesn’t just come from a beautiful, exotic place. It can create a little bit of paradise whenever you use it! 🙂

Have you ever used palmarosa before? What do you think? We’d love to hear from you!
